What’s on my Playlist?

My go-to apps when listening to my favorite music is Spotify. I love the wide selection and it always has the songs I’ve been dying to listen to. Disclaimer: I do not have any premium features on Spotify.

Spotify: I have a total of eight playlists with various artist on each. The order I put these are in no specific order. To add some “character” I spaced the letters out.      Username: madisonusry25

If you saw my last post you read that I got a Record play er or Turntable. You may be wondering what kind I got and what records did i get/plan on getting. I will leave a link to the turntable. Most of the records on here my grandmother had while she was growing up and decided to give them to me. Some of the records she gave me I don’t listen to.

Disclaimer: The pictures shown have a light shine on them because where I was taking the pictures there was a light above. One does have a black area because it has a name of the person who owned it/privacy reasons.

Right now I’m in Troy for their University’s 10th annual Clarinet Day. (More details later) For dinner we went to Ruby Tuesday’s and they had this giant cactus, sooo I HAD to take a picture. I didn’t get the full picture but I got this close-up beauty.

February Favorites

  • Hi guys, since February 2017 has ended it’s time for the 2nd moths’ edition of My Favorites.

β˜† TV Show: I’ve taken a break from Star Trek and got into more of a sitcom. I’m on Season 4 of 8 of That 70’s Show. It’s about this gang of teenagers living their life during the 1970s. I’ve been watching it on Netflix.
β˜† Music: Since I’m in band we’ve been praticing for MPA; the music we played was Flourish for Wind Band, Novo Lenio, and lastly Avalanche. My favorite of the three is Avalanche

β˜† Music 2: My friends that I go to school with have a band named Concrete Journal, their albumn Enferno is on Apple Music  and Google Play Store. The albumn has six songs and the genre is Metal; The songs are great and i highly recomend the. Please check them out.

β˜† Books: I’ve started on a new book; it’s an oldie but a goodie. I’m readiing Great Expectations By: Charles Dickens. It follows the orphan Pip from his rural, humble beginings under the care of his not-so-pleasent sister to the streets of bustling Victorian London, as he strives to become a gentlemen after recieving “Great Expectations” from a mysterious patron. Along the way, his love for the beautiful, yet cold Estella, the foster daughter of the eccentric Miss Haversham.

β˜† Apps: I’ve been in love with Pintrest for years!! It’s a great tool to “save” home decor ideas, funny memes, or homeade ways to clean the home. My username is @madisonusry

♧ If you want me to listen to a song, read a book or watch a movie or show please let me know in the coments.

January Favorites

Sorry this post is late but I’ve decided to (try) to do monthly favorites on certain topics, food, tv shows, movies, books, etc.

TV Show: Star Trek: The Next Generation- I finished the whole series today (2/2/17) but I started it in late ’15 early ’16. It’s really great, I highly suggest it.

Movie: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off– This movie is about Ferris acting sick to his parents so he can stay home; once his parents are off to work he convinces his best friend, and Bueller’s lover off on a wild outing around the city. This is a really good movie.

Music: I’m mostly a fan of ’60- ’80s music but the song that keeps getting stuck in my head is Life on Mars By: David Bowie. This song is and amazing song and it’s so catchy.

Book: I read this book a while back but it’s called H2O By: Virginia Bergin. It’s about how all of a sudden the rain water is poisonous to the touch and to consume. The main character has to try to find her dad that lives on the other side of Britain; hoping he’s alive. The sequel to this book is called Storm By: Virginia Berlin.

Sick? πŸ€’ Update

I felt even worse when I woke up this morning so I went to the doctor. They tested me for Strep, Mono, and the Flu. The test came back negative for all three of the tests. The doctor said I may have a small infection and that I should stay home for the rest of the week. Tomorrow I have to try out for my local county’s honor band (for chair placement) but since I’m not feeling well, I will not be able to attend. πŸ™

Love for Music

This is the reed I use to play the Bass Clarinet. I’m so glad I joined my schools band 4 years ago; it has changed me so much as a person. I really get into the music and I hate when we have to go on to a new piece(s) of music. I’m in marching band and concert. I will continue To play clarinet for a long time.
