May Favorites

May, my birthday month, I can’t believe I’m already 17! I officially started summer break from school this past week and now I’m officially a Junior in high school.

☆  Movie: My family went to see Gardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 last weekend and I was amazed, I didn’t think I would like the movie more than I did bit it was great. I didn’t get some of the references because I hadn’t seen the first Gardians of the Galaxy. I don’t know if it’s still in theaters (or if it is where you live); but great movie overall.

☆  Youtube:  I’ve stayed off netflix because I’m just at a bleh stage on it now. I get tired of watchin7some of the same things on it but never find anything eyes to watch on there. I have been more interested in Marzia’s and Dodie’s YouTube channels. I love their makeup tutorials, Dodgers music and more on both channels.

☆  Birthday: What I got for my birthday was, a steptracker drawing for beginners book, and most exciting of all…. a record player/turntable. If you have any records you’d love for me to try out please tell me.

☆ TV Show: I’ve taken a break from Star Trek and got into more of a sitcom. I’m on Season 4 of 8 of That 70’s Show. It’s about this gang of teenagers living their life during the 1970s. I’ve been watching it on Netflix.
☆ Music: Since I’m in band we’ve been praticing for MPA; the music we played was Flourish for Wind Band, Novo Lenio, and lastly Avalanche. My favorite of the three is Avalanche

☆ Music 2: My friends that I go to school with have a band named Concrete Journal, their albumn Enferno is on Apple Music  and Google Play Store. The albumn has six songs and the genre is Metal; The songs are great and i highly recomend the. Please check them out.

☆ Books: I’ve started on a new book; it’s an oldie but a goodie. I’m readiing Great Expectations By: Charles Dickens. It follows the orphan Pip from his rural, humble beginings under the care of his not-so-pleasent sister to the streets of bustling Victorian London, as he strives to become a gentlemen after recieving “Great Expectations” from a mysterious patron. Along the way, his love for the beautiful, yet cold Estella, the foster daughter of the eccentric Miss Haversham.

☆ Apps: I’ve been in love with Pintrest for years!! It’s a great tool to “save” home decor ideas, funny memes, or homeade ways to clean the home. My username is @madisonusry

January Favorites

Sorry this post is late but I’ve decided to (try) to do monthly favorites on certain topics, food, tv shows, movies, books, etc.

TV Show: Star Trek: The Next Generation- I finished the whole series today (2/2/17) but I started it in late ’15 early ’16. It’s really great, I highly suggest it.

Movie: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off– This movie is about Ferris acting sick to his parents so he can stay home; once his parents are off to work he convinces his best friend, and Bueller’s lover off on a wild outing around the city. This is a really good movie.

Music: I’m mostly a fan of ’60- ’80s music but the song that keeps getting stuck in my head is Life on Mars By: David Bowie. This song is and amazing song and it’s so catchy.

Book: I read this book a while back but it’s called H2O By: Virginia Bergin. It’s about how all of a sudden the rain water is poisonous to the touch and to consume. The main character has to try to find her dad that lives on the other side of Britain; hoping he’s alive. The sequel to this book is called Storm By: Virginia Berlin.
